This Privacy Policy describes how IntellectSprouts and its affiliates (collectively, “IntellectSprouts”, “we”, “our”, or “us”) collect, use, share, protect, and otherwise process your information and personal data through our website https://www.intellectsprouts.com (hereinafter referred to as the “Platform”).

This website is owned and operated by Mudit Gupta.

You may browse certain sections of the Platform without registering with us. We do not offer any products or services outside India, and your personal data will primarily be stored and processed in India. Certain service providers, such as Google and Meta, may process limited data on servers outside India, as described below. By accessing or using the Platform, providing your information, or availing any product or service offered on the Platform, you expressly agree to be bound by this Privacy Policy, the Terms & Conditions, and applicable laws of India, including laws relating to data protection and privacy. If you do not agree, please do not use or access the Platform.

We collect personal data when you register, use our Platform, participate in competitions, make payments, or otherwise interact with us. Information collected may include, but is not limited to, name, date of birth, age bracket, address, contact number, email address, and any information provided as proof of identity or address.

When you ask for an email verification code on a registration form, we save the email address and the guardian's phone number you enter, even if you do not complete the registration, so that we can send you the code and help you finish registering, and we may contact you about it.

Verification by WhatsApp or email. When you ask for a verification code on a registration or sign-in form, we save the phone number and email address you enter, even if you do not finish registering, so that we can send you the code and help you complete your registration. If you choose WhatsApp, we send the code to that number on WhatsApp. We keep a record of each code request: the time, the masked phone number, whether the message was delivered and the technical result reported by WhatsApp, and a one-way (hashed) version of your network address and device details so that we can prevent misuse. We never store the verification code itself in readable form.

Your phone number as verified. Once you verify a number we record that it is verified and when, and we use it to recognise that the number belongs to you. A verified number is not made public.

Sensitive personal data such as payment instrument details may be collected with your consent and strictly in accordance with applicable laws. We do not store complete card or banking details. You may choose not to provide certain information; however, this may limit your access to specific features or services.

When you interact with our Instagram or Facebook posts (e.g., by commenting), we may collect your Instagram/Facebook user ID, username, and the text of your comment, in order to provide automated replies and direct messages related to that post. This data is retained only as long as needed to operate and audit this feature, and is not sold or used for advertising.

If you contact us on WhatsApp, Instagram or Facebook, we collect the contact details and messages you send so that we can reply to you.

When you arrive from one of our Facebook or Instagram advertisements, we record campaign details such as the advertisement and campaign identifiers passed in the link, and link them to your account if you register. When you register or pay, we also record the steps you complete on our Platform, for example requesting or verifying an email code, submitting the registration form, starting a payment, and the outcome of a payment.

We may also collect transactional data, behavioural information, and usage patterns in an aggregated and anonymised manner to improve our services.

2. Conducting surveys, feedback sessions, and market, demographic, and statistical research (including the analysis of age brackets via tools like Google Analytics) to better understand our audience and refine our competitions and services.

4. Measuring and improving the performance of our own advertising on Meta (Facebook and Instagram), including building and excluding advertising audiences, using the information described under “Sharing Your Information”.

4. Sending you updates about your registration, payment and workshop access on WhatsApp [and by email]. We do not use this WhatsApp contact for marketing or promotional messages. If we ever want to send such messages, we will ask for your separate permission first.

We send registration, payment, certificate and reminder emails only to email addresses that have been confirmed. If you register using a WhatsApp code, we send you one email asking you to confirm your email address. Until you confirm it, we send your registration updates on WhatsApp and show them in your account, and we do not send other emails to that address.

1. Service Providers
1. We engage trusted third-party service providers to assist in competition management, website hosting, email communication, marketing campaigns, website analytics (such as Google Analytics), and messaging tools used to reply to your comments and messages. These providers are bound by confidentiality obligations and only process your data as necessary to provide these services.
2. Meta (Whatsapp)
1. When you choose WhatsApp verification, the message containing your code is delivered through the WhatsApp Business Platform operated by Meta Platforms. Meta receives your phone number and the message so that it can deliver it, and reports back whether it was delivered. Meta processes this data under its own terms and privacy policy. 2. Bot protection. To protect our forms from automated misuse we use Cloudflare Turnstile. It may process technical information about your device and browser to tell people from automated programs.[Cloudflare privacy policy.]
3. Meta (Facebook and Instagram) — advertising measurement and audiences
1. To measure how well our advertisements work, we use the Meta Pixel on our Platform and send certain events directly from our servers to Meta Platforms (the operator of Facebook and Instagram) through its Conversions API.
2. What we send: the email address and phone number you give us, in hashed (one-way encrypted) form, together with an internal account identifier (also hashed); the event that occurred (for example, “registration submitted” or “payment completed”) and its time; the payment amount and currency where relevant; and, as Meta's technology requires, your device's IP address and browser details.
3. What we do not send: your child's name, date of birth, school, grade or address, your name, or any payment card or bank details.
4. These details are never made public, and we do not use them for any purpose other than measuring and improving our advertising — including building advertising audiences on Meta (for example, showing our ads to people similar to past participants, and not showing them to people who have already registered). For that purpose we may upload the guardian's email address and phone number from registered accounts to Meta in hashed form. We do not sell them, and we do not share them with anyone else.
5. Meta may compare the hashed values with its own records to match an event to a Facebook or Instagram account so that advertising performance can be measured. Meta processes that information under its own privacy policy (https://www.facebook.com/privacy/policy), and it may be processed on servers outside India.

1. With your explicit consent, we may share your submissions on platforms like Instagram, Facebook, YouTube, and others to promote competitions and showcase talent.

We will act on the request within a reasonable time; information already received by Meta is governed by Meta's own policy and controls.
5. Message Choices
1. You can choose email instead of WhatsApp for verification at any time. You can change the phone number on your account; a new number must be verified again.

You may request deletion of your account by contacting us using the details provided below. Upon deletion, access to your account and related data will be permanently removed, subject to any pending legal or operational requirements. This also applies to data we collect via Instagram or Facebook when you comment on our posts (see 'Collection of Information' above) — if you are not a registered user but want any comment or automated-message data we hold about you deleted, email [email protected] with your Instagram/Facebook username and the post in question, and we will delete it within a reasonable time.

Verification records. We keep the record of each verification code request (time, masked number, delivery result) for 30 days and then delete it. The fact that a phone number has been verified, and when, stays on your account until you delete the account.

We are committed to safeguarding your information through:

• Technical Measures: Secure servers, encryption, and firewalls to protect data during storage and transmission.
• Administrative Measures: Restricted access to personal information, ensuring only authorized personnel handle sensitive data.
• Monitoring: Regular security assessments and updates to counter emerging threats.

While we strive for robust security, please note that no system is completely immune to cyber risks.

Our website may use cookies, web beacons, and similar tracking technologies (including third-party services like Google Analytics and the Meta Pixel) to:

Services like Google Analytics may collect and process information such as your IP address, browser type, device information, aggregated age bracket, and pages visited. The Meta Pixel sets cookies (such as _fbp and _fbc) and collects the pages you visit, the actions you take, and technical information such as your IP address and browser type, so that we can measure and improve our advertising. You can limit this through your browser or device settings and content blockers, and through your ad preferences on Facebook and Instagram (Settings → Ads → Ad settings). The analytics choice you make on our Platform applies to Google Analytics.

For participants under the age of 18, parental or guardian consent is required to provide personal information or participate in competitions. We do not knowingly collect information from children without such consent. Registrations are made by a parent or guardian, and we do not send a child's name, date of birth, school or other child-specific details to Meta or to any advertising service.

By using the Platform, you consent to the collection, use, storage, and processing of your information as described in this Privacy Policy, including the advertising measurement and audience uses described above. You may withdraw consent by writing to us; however, withdrawal may limit access to certain services.

We may periodically update this Privacy Policy to reflect changes in our practices or legal requirements. Any updates will be posted on this page with an updated effective date. We encourage you to review this policy regularly.
