The IntellectSprouts Story Telling Competition 2026 is an online creative storytelling challenge for children aged 3–12 years.
Each participant will receive three age-appropriate picture prompts displayed in the competition announcement. Children must create an original story connecting all three pictures in a meaningful or imaginative way. The pictures may be used in any order.
The story must be narrated in English and must follow the prescribed line limit for the participant's age category.
Children may use props while narrating; however, props will not earn additional marks. The focus is on the child's own imagination, story development, language, narration and confidence.
Parents may assist with recording and uploading the video, but the story must be created and narrated independently by the child. Prompting, coaching or using another language during narration may result in deduction of marks.

An exciting online storytelling competition where children turn three picture prompts into one original, imaginative story. From magical adventures to unexpected friendships, participants must connect all three pictures and bring their ideas to life through storytelling. Designed to encourage creativity, vocabulary, imagination and confidence, this competition gives children the freedom to think independently and tell a story in their own words.
Participants must register online through the official IntellectSprouts website before registration deadline closes.
The registration fee is ₹100 per participant. The fee is non-refundable in any circumstances.
Parents are responsible for providing accurate participant details and valid age proof if requested by the organisers, failing which will lead to disqualification.
All three pictures must be meaningfully incorporated into the story. They may be used in any order.
The story must follow the prescribed line limit for the participant's age category:
English is the only accepted language for the story and narration.
Children may use props during narration. However, props, costumes and decorative arrangements will not earn additional marks.
Online Submission of a storytelling video is mandatory. Late submissions are not allowed.
The video must clearly show and capture the child narrating the complete story. The video must be recorded in one continuous take, without cuts, pauses, splicing or editing.
Background music, voice-overs, dubbed narration and effects that interfere with judging are not permitted.
The uploaded video must be complete, playable and accessible to the judging team. Incomplete, corrupted or inaccessible submissions may not be considered.
The use of Hindi or any language other than English during the story narration may result in deduction of marks.
Parents must not intervene during the recording. The child should be allowed to express ideas and narrate in their own words.
Submission once made cannot be edited or re-submitted in any case.
Record your child's complete storytelling performance in one continuous, unedited video.
Ensure that the child's face is visible and the narration is clearly audible.
Do not prompt, coach or feed lines to your child during the recording.
The story must be narrated in English only.
Please compress the video before uploading it. Large video files may fail to upload.

Marks will be deducted for parent prompting, the use of languages other than English, editing or cutting of video and violations of the video recording guidelines. Entries that violate originality requirements may be disqualified.
