All friendship bands must be completely handmade by the participant.

Participants must make only the number of friendship bands specified for their age category.

Kindly follow the age-wise requirement and create only the specified number of friendship bands. Creating more bands may result in disqualification.

To keep the competition fair for everyone, all friendship bands must be handmade by the child. Entries containing ready-made, purchased, or partially purchased bands may be disqualified.

Any safe craft material may be used.

Participants may decorate the bands using beads, ribbons, threads, wool, felt, foam, lace, buttons, sequins, fabric, wooden beads, recycled materials, or any other safe craft materials.

One clear photograph showing all completed friendship bands together must be submitted.

A single continuous video is not required. You may record the child making each friendship band separately.

SEPARATE recording of videos showing the child making the major portion of each friendship band is mandatory. There is no need to upload the video during submission. Please keep it ready and share it with the IntellectSprouts team via WhatsApp only if requested.

The video should clearly capture the child‘s major steps of the friendship band-making process. If verification is required, participants may be asked to reproduce the activity. Inability to do so may lead to disqualification.

Only one entry is permitted per participant.

To ensure fair evaluation, entries submitted after the submission deadline will not be accepted. Please plan your submission accordingly.

All entries will be evaluated carefully by our judges, and their decision will be final.

We encourage all participants to submit original work. Any instance of cheating, plagiarism, impersonation, or unfair practice may lead to disqualification.

Parent Assistance Guidelines

• Mild parental assistance is permitted only for the 3–4 years age category.
• Parents may help only when absolutely necessary, such as handling difficult knots or providing guidance.
• The friendship band should clearly reflect the child's own effort.
• For participants aged 5 years and above, the work is expected to be done independently by the child.
• If the judges find that the friendship band has been substantially or mostly made by a parent or any other person, appropriate marks will be deducted.
• If it is evident that the child has not participated meaningfully in making the friendship band(s), the entry may be disqualified.

Safety Guidelines

Parents or guardians are responsible for supervising young children while they are creating their friendship bands.

Please ensure children safely use scissors, needles, glue guns, hot tools, beads, wires, sharp objects, or any other craft materials.

IntellectSprouts shall not be responsible for any injury, accident, loss, or damage occurring during the preparation of the friendship bands.

Submission Guidelines

Participants must submit:

Mandatory

• One clear photograph showing all completed friendship bands together.
• One 'making video' of each band clearly showing the child creating the friendship band(s) needs to be submitted to team on whatsapp if requested. It should not be uploaded on the submission page.

Age Proof

A valid age proof must be uploaded during submission.

Accepted age proofs include:

• Masked/ Original Aadhaar Card (sensitive information may be masked except DOB)
• Birth Certificate
• Passport
• School ID Card (with Date of Birth and current academic session)

Kindly ensure that the age proof uploaded is valid and matches the participant's details. Missing, incorrect, edited, fake, or mismatched documents may lead to disqualification.
